Maiserra

Born in Zaragoza in 1995.
Graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid (2015 - 2019).
Master in Education by the University San Jorge of Zaragoza (2019 - 2020).
Master in Cultural Heritage Management by the University of Zaragoza (2021 - 2022).

Artistic background

Her artistic journey has been marked by a diverse range of projects and collaborations. In Madrid, she contributed to "Graffiti Zone," which was exhibited at Medialab Prado, and collaborated on a mural at IES Ortega y Gasset. She also participated in events like the Arts & Crafts Days in Campo de la Cebada, Madrid, and the Faz Art Fair in Las Armas, Zaragoza.

In 2021, she was featured in an interview on Aragón TV's "Atónitos Huéspedes" program, where she presented her projects and took part in the collective exhibition "Remain" at Espacio Cómplice in Madrid.

In 2022, she created a mural on Alfredo Balaguer Street in Zaragoza and completed an internship as a cultural manager at the Mothership NYC and NOoSPHERE Arts residency programs in New York. During this time, she also contributed illustrations to the literary project "Gancho. La memoria de un barrio".

In 2023, she participated in Zaragoza's "Graffiti Joven Ferial Zone" project, further engaging in public art. She also illustrated "Magdalena", a follow-up to the "Gancho" project.

Most recently, in 2024, she was selected to participate in the "Stronger Together" exhibition at the 12 Star Gallery in London, part of the EU/UK "Stronger Together" programme.

Throughout these years, she has been actively involved in various European projects, including "You Art Me" (now in its third edition), "YoUrban Lab," and "Quesito Pignatelli." Working with organizations like Viaje a la Sostenibilidad and Colectivo 21, she contributes as a social media and communication manager, as well as a project manager.
